11:30 Golf details - for those who have already registered, join us for nine holes at the Southgate Golf Course 1975 Tonaquint Dr. St. George. $35. Arrive at 11:30. First tee time is noon. Payment will be made through Eventbrite. Only 24 slots. So, sign up early.

1:00-2:00 Pickleball - Play will take place at The Picklr, 615 E. St. George Blvd. It is recommended that you arrive 15 minutes early so that you can begin to make teams and start playing right at 1:00 p.m.

3-4 Collegiate Pre-session - “What I Wish I Had Known When I Started?” Panel: Dylan Hansen, McKayla Wolf, Kaitlin Landen, Ty Excell, Sarah Johnson. These young and upcoming teachers will share the knowledge they have gained that will most benefit those about to enter the profession and start working in the most incredible career on earth.

4:30-5 Utah Bandmasters Association Awards

5- 5:45 Dr. Kandis Taylor, Lakeridge Jr. High, and Snow College-“Rehearsal Techniques for Success on Any Level”-Whether you work with beginners or those who may be more, Dr. Taylor will share effective strategies for rehearsal that will help any level of group achieve excellence.

6-6:45 Dr. Brandon Robinson, Missouri Southern State University-“Making Your Situation Work, No Matter the Size”- Dr. Robinson will share ideas and concepts that will allow you to find success whether you work in a small school, rural school, title one school, or large affluent school. No matter your situation, these tried and true methods can work for you.

7-7:45 Jeff King, Author, Foundations for Superior Performance, Past President for the Texas Bandmasters Association-“How to Motivate Your Students to Practice”-Mr. King will draw on his years of experience and pedagogical mastery to discuss various objective pass-offs to encourage students to achieve content mastery.
